Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Made an immediate impact in his first collegiate season in the states, racing across multiple middle- and long-distance events … opened with a 4:06.77 mile (4:01.40 converted) at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational before lowering his raw best to 4:03.03 at the UW Invite … He added an 800m season-best of 1:53.41 at the same meet and ran 8:05.64 in the 3,000m at the Husky Classic … At Mountain West Championships, Abraham advanced to the mile final and placed ninth overall.
Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Opened up the outdoor season at home with an eighth-place finish at the New Mexico Spring Invitational before dropping his time to a season-best 3:44.25 at the Bryan Clay Invitational … also posted a PR of 1:53.04 in the 800 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and ran 14:13.46 for 5,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational … placed third in the 1,500 at the Don Kirby Tailwind Twilight and closed his season with a ninth-place finish in the 1,500 at the Mountain West Championships.
