Cross Country (Junior): In her debut season with New Mexico after transferring from Durham University in England, Wood quickly made an impact, placing 22nd at the Cowboy Jamboree 6K (21:34.8) and setting a season-best 6K time of 21:09.7 at Wisconsin Pre-Nationals. She finished 28th at the Mountain West Championships and competed at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships.
Outdoor Track & Field (Junior): Wood posted a breakthrough season on the track, setting collegiate bests in all three of her primary events … She opened with a 1,500m win in 4:30.89 at the New Mexico Spring Invitational before lowering her time to a PR 4:25.46 at Bryan Clay … At Stanford, she ran a 10,000m PR of 33:48.59 and at Bryan Clay she added a 5,000m PR of 16:12.70 … She captured her first Mountain West title in the 10,000m (34:27.49) and advanced to the NCAA West First Round in the event, closing her season with a 35:48.69 in the preliminary round … Later in the summer, represented Great Britain at U23 European Championships in the 10,000m, finishing 15th (34:53.75).
