Saw action in five meets… Placed first in the heptathlon at the Mountain West Championships with 5387 points… Finished in first place in the long jump (hept.) at the Mountain West Championships jumping a 23-10 ¾ (7.28m).
2018 Outdoors: Competed in seven meets… Finished in second place in the decathlon at the Mountain West Championships with 6975 points… Competed in both the long jump (hept.) and the javelin (hept.) at the Mountain West Championships, placed first in the long jump (hept.) jumping a 23-1 ¼ (7.04m) and first in the javelin, throwing a 169-4 (51.61m).

2017 Indoors
: Competed at three meets … Made his season debut at the Cherry & Silver Invitational, placing fourth in the pole vault (16-6 3/4; 5.05m) … Competed in the 60 (7.21*) and 400 (50.94*) at the New Mexico Team Invitational.
2017 Outdoors: Saw action at six two meets … Opened up at the Cardinal Classic, placing ninth in the shot put (41-7 1/4; 12.68m) and 13th in both the discus and javelin … Claimed runner-up honors in the decathlon at the Mountain West Championships, scoring 7,277 points via strong marks in the long jump (first, 23-7 1/2), discus (first, 124-9) and pole vault (16 3/4).

2016 Indoors
: Competed at five meets … Opened up by competing in just the shot put at his first two meets, first logging a toss of 41-7 (12.67m) at the Cherry & Silver Invitational before upping his mark to 43 1/2 (13.12m) at the New Mexico Team Invitational … Competed in his first heptathlon at the New Mexico Classic & Multis, placing sixth with 5,003 points via strong marks in the 60 dash (7.36), long jump (22-1 1/2) and the pole vault (14-1 1/4) … Increased his season best in the vault at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, clearing 15-11 3/4 (4.87m) to place 11th … Captured runner-up honors in the heptathlon at the Mountain West Championships, scoring 5,241 points … Was top-two in three of the seven heptathlon events, including the long jump (second, 22-10), shot put (second, 42-8) and pole vault (15-7) … Also scored in the open pole vault, clearing 15-1 1/2 (4.61m) for eighth place.
2016 Outdoors: Saw action at six meets … Made his season debut at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open, placing third in the 110 hurdles (15.25*) and the pole vault (15-7) … At the Sun Angel Classic, competed in the long jump (21-8 3/4) and the shot put (41-5 1/4) … Got his first taste of the decathlon at the California Invitational, placing third with 7,079 points … Posted strong marks in the long jump (23 1/2), 400 dash (50.83), 110 hurdles (15.31) and pole vault (15-1) to earn his decathlon finish … Finished second in the decathlon at the Mountain West Championships, registering 7,047 points via high marks in the long jump (22 1/4), 110 hurdles (15.31), discus (136-6) and pole vault (15-5) … Also scored in the open pole vault, clearing 14-3 1/2 (4.35m) for seventh place.

2015 Indoors
: Competed at six meets …Opened with an eighth-place finish in the pole vault at the Air Force Open … Took ninth in the long jump and 12th in the shot put at the Lobo Open … Cleared 15-9 3/4 to place ninth in the pole vault at the New Mexico Team Invitational, adding a 12th-place finish in the shot put … First heptathlon came at the New Mexico Classic, where he finished ninth … Turned in solid performances in the long jump (22-3), shot put (39-7 1/4) and high jump (5-10 3/4) in the New Mexico Classic pentathlon … Posted a clearance of 15-11 in the pole vault at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational … Finished fourth in the pentathlon at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a total of 5,240 points … Registered strong marks in the long jump (22-7 3/4), shot put (41-3), high jump (6 3/4) and pole vault (16-2 3/4) en route to his 5,240 points.
2015 Outdoors: Saw action at six meets … Won the shot put at the New Mexico Quadrangular with a toss of 40-10 1/4 … Also second in the pole vault at the New Mexico Quadrangular (14-9) … Placed 13th in his first decathlon, using strong performances in the 100 (11.38), shot put (40-4 3/4) and pole vault (14-9) to amass 6,598 points … Took second in the 110 hurdles (15.80*) and discus (119-10) at the UTEP Twilight … Took fourth in the decathlon at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, finishing with a personal-record 6,844 points … Posted strong finishes in the shot put (40-6), high jump (6 3/4), 110 hurdles (15.90) and pole vault (14-11) in the decathlon at the MW meet.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
A decathlete from the Netherlands … Owns personal record of 6,719 points in the decathlon and 4,695 in the heptathlon … Also owns personal bests of 8.71 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, 6 feet, 1 1/2 inches (1.87 meters) in the high jump and 23 feet (7.01) in the long jump.
