2014 graduate of La Cueva High School in Albuquerque … took second in the shot put at the 2014 New Mexico 5A State Track & Field Championships with a toss of 41-4 3/4 … won the event six other times her senior year, including the APS Metro Championships (39-2 1/2), the Albuquerque Invitational (40-7) and the Buddy Roberston Invitational (PR of 41-8) … state champion in the shot put in the 2013 as a junior, winning with a distance of 39-2 1/2 … won the shot put at the New Mexico 5A District Meet and APS Metro Championships in the 2013 … competed in the discus for the Bears, with a 12th-place showing at the 2014 state championships and a runner-up finish at the Richard Harper Invitational (PR of 115-3).
