2014 Outdoors: Competed in the javelin at five meets, never finishing out of the top 10 … Opened with back-to-back ninth-place finishes at the Texas Tech Open (162-10/49.63 meters) and Jim Click Shootout (179-5/54.69) … Claimed seventh at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge, tossing the spear 170-10 (52.06) … Took fourth at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational with a distance of 1796 (54.72) … Barely missed scoring at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, tossing 165-1 (50.31).
