2013 XC: Competed five times for New Mexico, scoring three times … Opened at the Notre Dame Invitational, placing 140th over in the five-mile course in 26:14.7 … Scored at back-to-back-to-back meets, all as the team’s No. 5 runner … Kicked off his scoring streak at the Wisconsin Invitational, placing 111th in 24:25 … Raced to 15th overall at the Mountain West Championships, touring the eight-kilomete course in 24:42.13 … Claimed 25th at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships as he completed the 10K course in 30:07.1 … Placed 186th at the NCAA Championships, with a time of 32:10.2 over 10K.
2014 Indoors: Ran at six meets for the Lobos, advancing to the UNM- and Albuquerque-hosted NCAA Championships in March 2014 … Most of his action came in the mile, including at the New Mexico Team Invitational (fifth place, time of 4:01.97*) … Clocked a sub-four-minute mile at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, winning the event in 3:58.90* … Scored a third-place finish at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, placing third in 4:11.40* … Advanced to the NCAA Championships, placing eighth in the mile with another sub-four time of 3:59.71*.
2014 Outdoors: Saw action at six meets, including the opening weekend of the national championships … Opened with a ninth-place time of 8:50.35 in the 3000 steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational … Ran the 1500 at two other regular-season meets, including the Bryan Clay Invitational (3:53.99) and the Payton Jordan Invitational … Ran one of the legs of the Lobos’ four-mile relay at the Penn Relays, helping the squad place fifth … Took fourth in the 1500 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, finishing in 3:50.77* … Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the steeplechase, barely missing qualifying to the NCAA finals with his 13th-place time of 8:50.26.

2012 XC: Ran five times for the Lobos … started off his season with a 98th-place time of 24:58 at the Notre Dame Invitational … scored at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (140th overall, fifth on the team) with a 24:27 time on the 8-kilometer course … claimed MW Freshman of the Year with a stellar fourth-place run of 24:39.76 over 8K … snagged 57th (31:52.6) at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships before scoring as the team’s No. 2 at the NCAA Championships (85th-place time of 30:36.7).
2013 Indoors: Redshirted the indoor campaign and did not compete.
2013 Outdoors: Competed at six meets, including the conference championships and the NCAA preliminaries … opened at the Stanford Invitational, taking home a fourth-place time of 3:49.29 in his section of the 1500-meter run … nabbed third in the 800 at the Air Force Triangular, finishing in 1:52.02* … claimed sixth in the metric mile at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clocking in at 3:45.43 … ran his first 3000 steeplechase at the Payton Jordan Invitational, placing 14th in his section with a 9:09.98 time … won the steeplechase at the Mountain West Championships in 8:59.16, while also earning all-conference honors in the 1500 with a time of 3:46.69 … tallied a superlative time of 8:49.66 in the steeplechase at the NCAA West Preliminary championships, placing 18th in a non-qualifying effort.
