2014 Outdoors: Competed at seven meets for the Lobos, proving his talent as one of the nation’s top middle-distance runners … Opened the season with a win in the 800 at the Arizona State Invitational, posting a time of 1:50.43 … In a pair of 1500-meter runs during the regular-season, finished 13th at the Bryan Clay Invitational (3:44.05) and 1st in his section at the Payton Jordan Invitational (then-personal record of 3:42.63) … Also ran a leg of New Mexico’s four-mile relay at the Penn Relays as the Lobos placed fifth … Tallied a victory over 1500 meters at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships to go along with a third-place finish in the 800 … Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the metric mile, where he earned a bid to the national finals with a second-place time of 3:40.40 … At the NCAA Championships, earned his first All-American honor outdoors as he placed fourth with a personal-best time of 3:39.90.

PREVIOUS COLLEGE (PRINCETON)
A transfer from Princeton University … helped the Tigers’ distance medley relay team to a national title at 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships, running the anchor leg (1600 meters) in 4:01.11 as Princeton won with a time of 9:33.01 … earned First-Team All-American in 2013 (indoor DMR) and 2012 (indoor mile run) … Ivy League champion six times from 2010-13 … won the 1500-meter run at the USA Track & Field Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships in 2010 … CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team in 2013, as well as Academic All-Ivy … USTFCCCA All-Academic from 2010-13.
