2015 Indoors: Competed at six meets … Opened with a ninth-place showing in the 60-meter hurdles (9.26*) and a 10th-place mark in the high jump (5-3; 1.60 meters) at the Air Force Open … Jumped 17-8 in the long jump at the Lobo Open … Ran 9.07* in the 60 hurdles and took ninth in the high jump with a mark of 5-4 1/2 (1.64m) at the New Mexico Team Invitational … Finished sixth in her first collegiate pentathlon, racking up 3,527 points behind strong performances in the shot put (35-10 1/2) and 800 (2:31.75) … Placed fifth in the pentathlon at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, scoring 3,681 points via fourth-place marks in the high jump (5-5 1/4) and the 800 (2:26.72).
2015 Outdoors: Saw action at six meets … Opened at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational with strong performances in the long jump (17-8) and the javelin (95-2) … Cleared 5-3 in the high jump and ran 15.26* in the 100 hurdles at the New Mexico Quadrangular to place second and fourth, respectively … Took 15th the heptathlon at the California Invitational, parlaying good performances in the long jump (17-11 3/4), the shot put (35-10 3/4) and the 200 (25.66) into 4,873 points … Ran 14.90 in the 100 hurdles at the Triton Invitational … Scored in the heptathlon at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, totaling 4,913 points behind solid showings in the 100 hurdles (14.93), 200 (25.53), 800 (2:25.90) and javelin (111-8).
HIGH SCHOOL
A talented multi-athlete out of Eldorado High School in Albuquerque … Shined in the jumps her senior year as an Eagle, including four straight wins in the triple jump that included a personal-record performance of 37 feet, 2 inches at the 2014 Marilyn Sepulveda Meet of Championships and a state title at the New Mexico 5A State Track & Field Championships … Placed 10th in the long jump at the 2014 state meet, but was second her junior year with a personal-record leap of 17-6 1/2 … Won the long jump two other time her senior year, including the APS Metro Championships … During the summer between her junior and senior years, advanced all the way to the USATF National Junior Olympic Outdoor Track & Field Championships, placing 17th … Placed ninth in the triple jump and the long jump at the highly competitive Great Southwest Classic … Took second in both hurdles at the 2014 New Mexico State Championships, setting a PRs of 15.24 in the 100 hurdles and 43.73 in the 300 hurdles … Also has experience in the heptathlon, including second at the 2014 Great Southwest Classic (4,498 points) and 16th at the 2013 USATF National Junior Olympic Outdoor Track & Field Championships (3,738 points) … Named the 2013-14 Albuquerque Journal All-Metro Athlete of the Year for girl’s track and field
