Prior to UNM
Baklini is an in-state recruit from Albuquerque, N.M. He played tennis under head coach Mike Pick at Eldorado HS. Baklini lettered in tennis all four years of his HS career. In 2012 he won the 5A state championship title while playing with the Eagles. Baklini was ranked as the No. 5 top tennis recruit in New Mexico for 2013.
Personal
Sean Baklini is a 2013 graduate of Eldorado HS in Albuquerque, N.M. Baklini is the son of Robert Baklini who is a UNM tennis alumni (1976-1979). He has an older sister named Amy and a twin sister named Susan who also currently plays tennis for the Lobos. Sean Baklini is planning on majoring in computer science while at UNM.
