2020 (Senior Season): Saw action in two games, going 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA, throwing 11.1 innings and allowing 10 hits and striking out 10 … picked up the win in a 12-1 victory over BYU, throwing five innings of two-hit ball, allowing one run and striking out 6 … left against Hofstra after throwing 6.1 innings, allowing three earned runs and was in line for a win.
2019 (Junior Season): Went a team-best 6-4 with a 4.95 ERA in 13 starts, throwing 75.0 innings with 47 strikeouts … helped UNM to a season-opening win against No. 24 Minnesota, throwing 7.0 innings and allowing just three hits and one run … beat Niagara 5-3 with 7.0 innings of shutout pitching, scattering three hits … allowed three first-inning runs and then settled down to pitch 5.0 innings in an 18-11 win over Cal State Fullerton … improved to 4-0 win seven innings of one-run pitching in a 9-3 win over Nevada … threw 6.2 innings in a 3-2 win over UNLV to move to 5-4 … earned the win in the season finale, going a career-best eight innings, allowing six hits and one run.
2018 (Sophomore Season): Went 3-4 with a 5.10 ERA in 18 appearances (6 starts) … Recorded 60 innings pitched (third most on the team) with 47 strikeouts and one save … Picked up his first win of the season against Cal Poly after going 5 scoreless innings with no hits and seven strikeouts.
2017 (Freshman Season): Had an 11.66 ERA in 10 appearances and 14.2 innings … Struck out 10 batters while walking nine … Made his collegiate debut against New Mexico State on March 7 in El Paso, Texas … Made first career start against Texas Tech on April 26.
High School: Was a four-year letterman in baseball and a two-year letterman in football at Eldorado High School (Albuquerque, N.M.) … His senior season was the New Mexico Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year and went 7-1 with a 1.45 ERA, 70 strikeouts and nine walks in 58 innings on the mound and hit .500 with eight home runs, 10 doubles, two triples and 30 RBI in helping Eldorado to the state quarterfinals … Was selected First Team All-State … As a junior helped Eldorado to the Class 6A state title by going 7-1 with a 0.80 ERA with 87 strikeouts in 61 innings while hitting .429 with three home runs, eight doubles and 26 RBI … Tossed the second no-hitter in Eldorado history on April 1, 2014 with 14 strikeouts and two walks in a 6-0 win over Sandia (Albuquerque) … Was named First Team All-State and the Albuquerque Metro Player of the Year as a junior.
