SENIOR (2014): Made four starts and 12 relief appearances for the Lobos and went 3-0 with a 5.46 ERA … was the winning pitcher in UNM’s first win of the season, a 2-1 extra-inning win at San Diego on Feb. 15 … he tossed two scoreless innings against the Toreros and allowed just one walk and no hits … earned a win in relief against No. 18 Kansas by throwing 3.2 scoreless innings in a 10-4 victory … struck out a season-high three batters three times, including in his third win over the season over Stephen F. Austin on April 9 … allowed just four extra-base hits in 29.2 innings … was phenomenal pitching to lefties, holding them to a .179 batting average against.

JUNIOR (2013):Started 14 games for the Lobos and went 1-1 with a 6.05 ERA in 58.0 innings … made collegiate debut when he started UNM’s season-opener vs. Oklahoma St. on Feb .15 as he allowed just one run in 4.0 innings … earned his only win Feb. 22 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi by hurling 7.0 shutout innings … allowed just four hits and one walk and struck out three … at Nebraska on March 2 he also tossed 4.0 shutout innings … at UNLV on March 15 he allowed only two unearned runs in 6.0 innings on three hits and a walk … allowed just three home runs all season … was extremely tough to hit with men on base as he limited opponents to a .260 average in those situations … named both Academic All-Mountain West as well as a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL:Born Aug. 11, 1990, in Bountiful, Utah … parents are Curtis Carman, Suzanne Loveland, and Dan Loveland … has five siblings: Ryley, Cory, Michael, Patrick, and Sam … played baseball, football, and basketball at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City … was two-time First Team All-State for football, and three-time All-State for baseball, including 3A MVP in 2008 … most recently played at Salt Lake Community College where he was First Team Region 18 in 2012 and an Academic All-American … favorite athlete is Roger Clemens … likes to hunt and fish … favorite food is steak and favorite movie is Any Given Sunday … his father, Curtis, pitched for the University of Utah and his mother, Suzanne, danced at the University of Utah.
