HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman at Cibola High School in Albuquerque for coach Ramon Gonzales … An all-state first baseman his senior season and all-district his sophomore and junior year (second team in his junior year) … Has been a part of the National Honor Society, student council and holds a 3.96 GPA with AP/honors courses … Also played for the Albuquerque Baseball Academy.
PERSONAL: Born in Chicago to Greg and Karyn White (raised in New Mexico) … Has two siblings: Emma (15) and Tommy (13) His father Greg is from Canada was a college basketball player at the University of Ottawa … Favorite athlete is Greg Maddux … Enjoys boating and going to the lake … Chose UNM because, “It’s a great program with great coaches and it’s close to home.”
