2019 (Redshirt Junior Season): Played in 10 games, starting two games … started against Sam Houston State in the opener and against Air Force … recorded 25 tackles including 0.5 TFLs … tied his career-high with five tackles in the opener against Sam Houston State … also had four tackles against San Jose State … also played on many of UNM’s special teams.
2018 (Redshirt Sophomore Season): Played in all 12 games, earning time at both safety positions … recorded 14 tackles on the season with 1.0 tackles for loss … had a career-high five tackles twice, against Utah State and against Boise State … also had a tackle for loss against Boise State … had two tackles against UNLV and against Wyoming.
2017 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Played in all 12 games, mostly on special teams while getting some snaps at safety.

High School: Lettered at Las Cruces High School and coach Jim Miller in football … also was a three-year letterman in baseball … was named First team All-District for three seasons, and he was the 2013 Offensive Newcomer of the Year … was named Second Team All-State in 2015 and was a two-time MVP by NMPreps.com … threw for 2,199 yards, completing 62.1% of his passes with 17 touchdowns and just three interceptions as a senior, leading Las Cruces to the state semifinals … also ran for 1,542 yards and 26 touchdowns, averaging 128.5 yards per game on the ground with five 100-yard games … threw for 1,960 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior, completing 63.4% of his passes … also rushed for 724 yards and five touchdowns with five 100-yard games … sported career numbers of 6,069 yards with 63 touchdowns and a completion rate of 62% to go with 3,340 yards rushing and 36 touchdowns … a four-time academic achievement winner (3.5 GPA or better) and took part in community service initiative such as reading at Las Cruces elementary schools and working with local veterans groups.
