WHY HE CHOSE UNM: “I chose UNM because of the relationship I made with Coach Birmingham. Coach Birmingham has had lifelong success as an elite baseball coach and I wanted to be a part of his legacy. Other than baseball the baseball side of Coach B, I like that he forms personal relationships with each one of his players.”
PERSONAL: Born on October 1, 1998 in Kansas City, MO … Parents are John and Debby Doak … Has an older sister, Kasey Doak (22) … Graduated from Union High School (Tulsa, OK) in 2018 with a 3.5 GPA … Was a 2018 6A State Champion and received All-State honors … Was a baseball letterman who held a .448 batting average throughout his high school career … Also played and lettered in football at Union High School …Played club ball for Tulsa Baseball Club … Majoring in communication … Enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time … Also enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf … Favorite athlete is Baker Mayfield … Favorite food is steak and favorite movie is Saving Private Ryan.
