TEMPE, Ariz. --- The University of New Mexico men's tennis team was honored with an ITA All-Academic Team honor, and four players were honored as ITA Scholar Athletes. The four individuals were Philip Bosin, Jakub Prachar, Carl Labitzke, and Jan Skerbatis.

Overall, 1,008 Division I Men’s student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, and 162 men’s tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), with all letter winners factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
