New Mexico Track & Field wrapped up a jam-packed day across three meets in California with two new program records and eight All-Time Top 10 entries in total on Saturday, with competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational (Azusa, Calif.), the Mt. SAC Relays (Walnut, Calif.) and the Beach Invitational (Long Beach, Calif.).

In Long Beach, Eva Ngom matched the UNM outdoor 400m record (52.08) with a stunning improvement on her personal best from Thursday, while Taniya Looney shattered the school 100m record (11.37) even with a headwind over in Walnut. Four Lobos notched All-Time 1,500m marks on in their final races over in Azusa to close out the day.

Women's 100 Hurdles Invite
6. Adryana Shelby - 13.54 (+1.8)

Shelby took a hundredth of a second off her previous best from Thursday with a 13.54 clocking to finish sixth overall at the Beach Invite – her second PB in a row after running 13.74 in her collegiate debut at the 44 Farms Invitational.

Soos took two-tenths of a second off his previous season best from Thursday to finish second overalls on the same track on Saturday, with Semaj Thompson running 58.76 to place sixth.

Eva Ngom ran a stunning PB – nearly a full second faster than her previous best of 53.05 ran on Thursday – to match Rebecca Grieve’s 52.08 performance last April for the fastest outdoor 400m performance in school history. Behind her, Pineda also came up with a new lifetime best that moves her up to No. 6 on the UNM outdoor list.

4. Kahari Wilbon - 47.12

Wilbon ran his fastest performance of the weekend and seventh sub-48 performance in a row as he finished fourth with a 47.12 time.

Lawson recorded a wind-legal season best as the Lobos’ lone representative in the 100m dash, crossing in 11.78 to finish 11th.

Four Lobo women recorded new PB’s in the invite sections of the 1,500m, with Tilly Simpson (3rd, 4:12.32) and Jasmine Wood (10th, 4:15.19) leading the way with Top-10 finishes that coincidentally also rank No. 3 and No. 10 on the UNM 1,500m Outdoor List. Li-Mari Dekker (15th, 4:15.90) beat her elevation-converted best from earlier in the season at the NM Spring Invitational and Natalie Bitetti (4:22.26) improved on her lifetime best from 2025 MW Outdoor Championships, while Mercy Kirarei and Kylie Feeney finished 77th and 81st, respectively.

Endrody and Kiprotich both ran new lifetime bests in the fastest heats of the night in Azusa, with Endrody’s 3:37.66 time – an improvement of 2.67 seconds from his 3:41.33 best at the same meet last year – ranking fourth on the UNM outdoor list. Kiprotich’s 3:39.53 time moves him up to No. 6 on the same list. Behind them, Abraham ran just shy of his 3:39.55 performance at Stanford two weeks ago to finish 22nd.

Sofia Pineda (54.56), Lou-Anne Pouzancre Hoyer (52.92), Hanna Kiess (54.24) and Eva Ngom (51.89) combined for a 3:33.91 time that ties for third on the UNM Outdoor List. Each of UNM’s Top Five fastest women’s 4x400m performances outdoors in school history have come in the last two seasons, with the Top Seven all coached by Kyra Mohns.

Even running into the wind, Looney produced a new wind-legal program record as she finished eighth overall in the Women’s 100m Dash with an 11.37 performance that’s .15 seconds faster than the next-best in school history.

Pouzancre Hoyer doubled up from the 4x400m with an improvement on her previous season best, putting down a 53.06 to finish 17th overall in a loaded field in Walnut.
