SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- The No. 42 San Diego State Aztecs took the doubles point in a sweep and then won three straight-set singles matches for a 4-0 win over the Lobos. The win pushed SDSU to 12-3 overall and 4-1 in the Mountain West while UNM dropped to 11-7 overall and 2-3 in the league.

UNM travels to take on No. 63 Grand Canyon on Sunday.

The Lobos were battling in doubles, with the Corley sisters of Vianca and Vivica leading 5-3, but the Aztecs took Nos. 1 and 3 doubles for the 1-0 lead.

In singles, Yu Yun "Kathy" Tsai was up 6-4, 4-2, and Lea Malazdra was in a third set and Vianca Corley was about to force a third set, but the Aztecs took straight sets at No. 1 singles (6-3, 6-4), No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-1) and No. 5 singles (6-3, 6-0) for the 4-0 win.
