HOUSTON, Texas --- Alice English finished off a solid championship with a 13th-place finish in the 10-meter platform, and Arianna Stokes qualified for UNM's first B-final, coming in 16th overall, as UNM finished off the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships with one more PR and a Top 10 final relay.

English turned into UNM's overall points leader, earning her a path into the Consolation Final with a 15th-place finish in the prelims.  From there, she moved up two slots to 13th, and in the process, she clinched UNM's leading point-scorer for the four-day championships.

Stokes, who picked up a C-Final in the 50 Free on Wednesday, qualified 15th overall, earning UNM's first B-Final appearance of the meet. She did it by 0.25 seconds, and her finals time was slightly slower, dropping from 50.48 to 50.73, but she still earned a 16th-place finish.

Mollie Gorman picked up a 23rd-place finish in the C-Final of the 200-yard breaststroke, setting a PR at 2:19.89, and Summer Wenger led off UNM's alternate relay team with a 100 Free PR of 52.84 to start the 400 Free relay.

UNM's main relay team finished 11th but turned in a UNM Top 10 team with a 3:24.49, the 10th-best performance at UNM in the 400 Free relay. Liv Hann led off, followed by Stokes, Alex McGill, and Tahlia Micallef.  Three of those four, Hann, Stokes, and McGill, teamed with Ava Schlosser for a Top 10 performance in the 200 Free relay on Thursday.

Overall, UNM had 17 PRs at the championships, led by four from senior Kaylah Yazzie. All but four points from the championships are slated to return next season. The Lobos will have Alice English and Esme Abbadi-Macintosh competing in the NCAA Diving Zone Championships in Flagstaff, Arizona, March 9-11.

NOTES: San Diego State recorded a 5-peat, winning the Mountain West title with 1367.5 points, and Washington State finished second, just ahead of UNLV.
