HOUSTON, Texas --- New Mexico picked up 11 points in the 3-meter dive, and the Lobos picked up three more PRs on Day 2 of the Mountain West Championships. The Lobos are currently 11th with 108 points.
One day after earning All-Mountain West honors in the 1-meter springboard, Alice English finished 17th in the 3-meter springboard. Freshman teammate Reed Moyer scored for the second straight day, coming in 23rd.
UNM picked up PRs from Kaylah Yazzie in the 100 fly (her third PR of the meet, as she PR'ed in the 50 free and the 100 back), from Liv Hann in the 200 free, and from Mollie Gorman in the 200 free.
The Lobos finished 11th in the 200 freestyle relay to close out the day.
The third of four days in the Mountain West Championships, held on the campus of the University of Houston, begins at 10:30 am Central Time with prelims in the 200 fly, the 100 back, and the 100 breast. The evening session, starting at 6 pm Central, will have those finals, plus the 200 medley relay, the 800 medley relay, and the team diving event.
