ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The Lobos finally get a chance to get off the road and swim at home, just in time to say goodbye to three standouts. Saturday, January 24, is Senior Day as UNM hosts Northern Arizona at Seidler Natatorium.
The ceremonies will start at 11 am with the introduction of the teams, and our Senior Day ceremony, where the team will honor three seniors, Tahlia Micallef, Amaya Oliphant, and Kaylah Yazzie.
The meet will consist of 16 events: 14 in the pool and the 1- and 3-meter dives. Fans are encouraged to enter the Seidler Natatorium via the west entrance.
UNM is coming off the Mardi Gras Invitational, taking on host Tulane, North Texas, and UALR. Overall, the Lobos turned in 16 season-best times in the racing events, including five PRs. UNM's dual meet against North Texas was the closest of the three, with UNM losing by a scant 11 points.
