7. Mackenzie Hurtubise - 3.64m (11' 11¼")
Jacquelyn Gorman recorded a season-opening mark of 3.79m – .03m better than her 2025 opener – to finish fifth in the “B” sections of the women’s pole vault, with Hurtubise clearing 3.64m in her first collegiate competition to finish seventh.
Men’s Unseeded 200 Meters
6. Kahari Wilbon - 21.49 / 21.56@
*Indoor personal best
Wilbon ran a raw all-conditions personal best in his season opener – a 21.49 (21.56 converted) mark that sits just outside the UNM Indoor Top 10 – to win the fifth heat and place sixth overall among the unseeded field. His previous indoor best was a 21.81 in his Lobo debut at the same Dr. MLK Jr. meet in 2025.
Women’s Unseeded 200 Meters
3. Rebecca Grieve - 23.80 / 23.87@
20. Sofia Pineda - 24.56 / 24.63@*^
31. Laylah Lawson - 25.06 / 25.13@*
*Indoor personal best
^No. 8 UNM Indoor All-Time List
Grieve won the third heat with the third-fastest time of the day – just shy of her 23.72 (23.79@) indoor best – to lead three Lobos in the unseeded women’s 200 sections. Pineda improved from her 24.62 / 24.69@ indoor best set at the MLK meet last year to win the 12th heat, while Lawson took 11 hundredths of a second off her own indoor best from the 2025 Don Kirby meet (25.17 / 25.26@).
Grieve's performance -- the fastest season opener of her career -- would rank 27th in the nation on the NCAA indoor list heading into this weekend and should rank among at least the Top 50 in the nation upon this weekend's conclusion.
Women’s High Jump
5. Ajia Hughes - 1.79m (5' 10.5")^
^No. 3 UNM Indoor List
In her first meet as a Lobo, 2025 NCAA Outdoor Qualifier Ajia Hughes cleared 1.79m to move into the No. 3 spot on the UNM all-time list – the best high jump mark by a Lobo woman since Ada’ora Chigbo’s 1.81m program record set in 2018. After passing on the first four jumps, she cleared 1.71m, 1.76m and 1.79m on her first attempt at each before scratching out on the 1.85m height, finishing fifth overall.
Hughes' performance almost assuredly will slot in among the Top 50 in the nation after this weekend's results finalize.
Men’s Long Jump
12. Cameron Miller - 6.96m (22' 10")*
*All-conditions personal best
Cameron Miller jumped 6.96m on his third attempt for a lifetime best in the long jump, surpassing his 6.95m performance at the same meet a year ago. He finished 12th overall in a field series that saw 11 other jumpers clear the seven-meter mark.
Women’s Long Jump
12. Hannah Vincent - 5.70m (18' 8½")
13. Ajia Hughes - 5.68 (18' 7¾")

24. Lauren Fowler - 5.14 (16' 10½")
Four Lobos recorded their season-opening marks in the women’s long jump, with Hannah Vincent’s 5.70m jump leading the way.
Women’s 600 Meters
2. Rasha Badrani - 1:30.50^
8. Kylie Feeney - 1:36.10
^No. 2 UNM Indoor List
In their first races in a Lobo uniform – and their first career 600m races – Rasha Badrani and Kylie Feeney finished second and eighth respectively, with Badrani running a 1:30.50 time that ranks second on the UNM All-Time Indoor list in that event behind teammate Rebecca Grieve’s 1:26.91 performance from last season.
Men’s “B” Pole Vault
3. Kyle Hatler - 4.95 (16' 2¾")*
*All-conditions personal best
Hatler cleared a new lifetime best as the only Lobo in the men’s “B” section of pole vault, adding three centimeters to his previous PR of 4.92m exactly a year ago.
Men’s 200 Meters (Invitational)

2025 Indoor National Qualifier Brodie Young opened his season with a heat win and 21.26 mark in the fastest 200m sections of the night, finishing fourth in the field overall.
