NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --- A day after going 7-6 overall, the Lobos topped that on day two of the CSUN Hidden Duals, going 6-2 in singles and 2-2 in doubles for an 8-4 day.

UNM is now 15-10 overall, sitting at 9-8 in singles and 6-2 in doubles over the two days. The Lobos played Youngstown State and San Jose State in singles and CSUN and San Jose State in doubles.

In singles, wins were picked up by Vianca Corley, Yu Yun "Kathy" Tsai, Lea Malazdra, Pamona Petre, Vivica Corley, and Coumba Ben Niangadou, with five of those in straight sets.

Niangadou was the only Lobo to play singles vs. a San Jose State Spartan, and she defeated Katarina Barajovic 7-5, 6-3. Everyone else topped a player from Youngstown State, with Vianca winning over Yeseniia Ovcharova and Tsai winning over Line Greyling, both by identical 6-1, 6-1 scores.

Malazdra also only gave up two games in winning 6-2, 6-0 over Yoana Dudova, and Petre was just as solid with a 6-3, 6-0 win, topping Sarah Partida.

The only three-set win was Vivica, winning 5-7, 6-0, 1-0 (10-6) against Diane Piranda.

In doubles, UNM's wins were by Veroux and Malazdra (6-3) and Niangadou and Tsai (6-2).

The Lobos will finish up tomorrow at the CSUN Hidden Duals. They are currently scheduled to face UC Irvine in singles and Arkansas State in doubles, although that is subject to change.
