LAS VEGAS, Nev. --- Coming off a successful week at the Mountain West Qualifiers, where the Lobos had both a semifinalist in singles and doubles, UNM is looking for more success in Vegas, this time at the ITA Regionals. The Lobos are looking to advance players into the ITA Sectionals in two weeks.

The Lobos will have nearly a full contingent in the field for both singles and doubles. In singles, UNM has four players in the qualifying matches and four already in the main draw of 64, while in doubles, UNM has two in the round of 64 and two seeded teams which are in the Round of 32.

Carl Labitzke needs two wins to advance into the main draw as he opens against Roberto Hernandez of Nevada. With a win, he would face the winner of Luka Vujacic of Idaho State or Theo Mottier of Weber State to earn one of the 16 qualifying slots in the main draw.

Teammate Alberto Perez also needs two wins to earn a spot.  He will open with Lewie Bouman of Idaho State, and with a win he would face either Valentin Glasl of Idaho or Langdon Tingleaf of Air Force.

Two Lobos need just one win to advance as they earned one of the 16 qualifying draw seeds.

Jan Skerbatis is seeded ninth and will face the winner of Sep De Visser of Idaho State or Nicolas Recoura of Nevada for a spot in the main field.

Jakub Prachar is the 2-seed and takes on the winner of Eric William Wang of Idaho or Yassin Elaroussy of Montana State.

Four Lobos are already in the main draw, with all players starting in the Round of 64.  Tyler Waddock opens play against Boise State's Julius Seifert, with No. 12 Valentino DePellegrin of Idaho State waiting in the wings.

Philip Bosin, who got to the semifinals of the Mountain West Qualifier, plays Jack Brown of Air Force, with the 6-seed Emmett Potter of Utah waiting.

Nishant Dabas plays Adam Duda of Boise State, and No. 2 Tom Bittner of Boise State would be the Round of 32 opponent.

Already into the Round of 32 is No. 9-seed Dario Ciobotaru, who will play either Lukas Velik of Boise State or Chetanna Amadike of Idaho.

In Doubles, two Lobo teams are in the Round of 64, and two are in the Round of 32. Bosin and Perez play Dante Carlos Teramo and Charles Frey of Utah.  Waddock and Labitzke face off with Brody Nejedly and Roman Venger of Utah State.

In the Round of 32, UNM has a pair of seeded teams.  Skerbatis and Prachar are the No. 9 seed, and they play Noe De Col and Xavier Martin of Idaho. Dabas and Ciobotaru are the No. 13-seed, and they play either Eliot Nobel and Jakub Medved of Utah State or Vitaly Horovoy or Joel Gibson of UNLV.
