ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico (5-6, 3-3 MW) takes on the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors (4-7, 2-4 MW) on Senior Night on the islands. The Lobos have set themselves up with two straight wins for a win-and-in scenario in which the Lobos can become bowl eligible for the first time in eight years with a win. That win would be UNM’s fourth on the road, equaling the most since 2005. Hawai’i, which is now ineligible, has been great at home and are looking to send its seniors out on a high note.

QUICKLY
- Both teams are coming off bye weeks, with UNM having defeated No. 18 Washington State 38-35 and Hawai’i losing to Utah State 55-10 on the road.
- New Mexico has its most wins in a season in eight years, sitting at 5-6 overall.
- New Mexico’s Devon Dampier is already the UNM single-season leader in total offense, but he can extend that record, and UNM can potentially set a record for team total offense in a season., although an extra game would about guarantee it.
SERIES vs. HAWAI’I
- Hawai’i leads the all-time series 16-11, and UNM is just 6-12 on the island, although the Lobos have won four of the last five, last losing in 2020, 39-33..
