UNM Closes Home Schedule with Nevada

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Lobos close out their home schedule this weekend as they welcome the Wolf Pack for a three-game series starting on Friday.

Friday: 6 p.m.
Saturday: 2 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m.

All three games will be streamed on the Mountain West Network with live stats available.

UNM will recognize its five seniors (Janae Cameron, Samantha Fohrman, Peyton Robinson, Leslie Romero and Reyan Tuck) on Senior Day Saturday in a postgame ceremony. For those unable to attend, the stream will carry the ceremony.

The Lobos enter the series 17-28 (4-13 MW) while the Wolf Pack enters the series 26-14 (7-9 MW), having lost their last series to Fresno State (0-3) and are 2-8 in the last 10 games. When it comes to other MW series, Nevada split with San Diego State and Boise State, won its series with Utah State (2-1) and UNLV (2-1), and lost its series with SJSU (1-2). In conference play, Nevada has 110 hits with 16 home runs, 17 doubles and five triples, and has scored 82 runs. The Wolf Pack are second in the conference in stolen bases with 33 and lead in sac bunts with 11.

BY THE NUMBERS
On the season, UNM is 12-3 when scoring first and 14-3 when scoring in the 1st inning. The Lobos are 12-2 when leading after the 4th, 10-1 when leading after the 5th and 11-0 when leading after the 6th.

The Lobos have scored 10+ runs in six games this season with a season-high 15 runs and a season-high 18 hits in game 3 at Utah State. UNM is 5-1 when scoring 10+ runs.

On the season, UNM leads the MW in hits (342) and triples (13) and is fourth in total bases (487). UNM also leads in fielding double plays (20). In MW games, UNM is tied for first in triples (7) and fielding double plays (7) and tied for second in sac bunts (10).

UNM is 26th in the NCAA in double plays per game (0.44), 32nd in triples per game (.29), 64th in batting average (.290).

Rachael Hathoot leads the MW in triples (6), is second in the MW in batting average (.388), fifth in hits (50), seventh in on-base percentage (.455), tied for eighth in total bases (79) and eighth in slugging percentage (.612). Peyton Robinson is tied for sixth in hits with 49 and leads in sac bunts at 10. Ashley Archuleta is second in triples with five.

Amber Linton leads the MW in batters struck out (141), 11 more than the 2nd-highest pitcher, batters struck out looking (42) and innings pitched (137.2).

Amber Linton is 45th in the NCAA in strikeouts. Rachael Hathoot is ninth in the NCAA in triples, 14th in triples per game (0.13) and 90th in batting average. Peyton Robinson is 20th in sac bunts per game (0.22) and Ashley Archuleta is 16th in triples and 24th in triples per game (0.12).

HOME STATS
The Lobos are 7-6 at home this season and are outhitting their opponents .342 to .306 and in hits 117-112. In games played at Lobo Softball Field, UNM is 5-1 when scoring in the first inning and 4-1 when scoring first. The Lobos are 6-0 when leading after four innings, 7-1 when leading after five and 5-0 when leading after six. UNM is also 5-1 when hitting at least one home run and has outhit its opponent in all seven wins.
