ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s basketball team returns home Tuesday as it begins a two-game homestand against Fresno State. Tipoff at The Pit is 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on Stadium and the Lobo Radio Network.
Fans attending the game are reminded of the health and safety protocols at The Pit. Fans 12 and over must show proof of vaccination or show proof of a negative COVID test in order to enter the arena. Complete information on the policy is available at GoLobos.com/safe.
Tuesday’s game is Team Day at The Pit. All kids can receive a free youth ticket if they are wearing their team jersey.
The Lobos (7-12, 0-6) are looking for their first conference win of the season, as five of their six Mountain West losses have been by single-digits. New Mexico is coming off a pair of road losses to two of the league’s top teams, an 80-74 loss at No. 23 Colorado State on Wednesday and a 93-91 loss at Wyoming on Saturday.
Fresno State (13-5, 3-2) is coming off a77-73 loss at Nevada on Friday night. The Bulldogs are led by Orlando Robinson, who is second in the Mountain West in scoring at 19.7 points per game.
The Lobos will conclude the homestand on Friday as they host San Josè State. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
