My Hometown – Jared Garcia of Belen, N.M.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — My Hometown is a new feature under the We Are New Mexico umbrella.  In it, we will take a trip to the hometown of one of our New Mexico student-athletes to learn a little bit about them, and their hometowns.  The opening feature takes you to Belen, New Mexico, the home of track and field/cross country student-athlete Jared Garcia.  In it, you will learn what Belen means, why Jared picked UNM and cutting hay.  We hope you enjoy My Hometown, featuring Jared Garcia of Belen!
