ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One game is all that remains in the 2019 Lobo football season, as UNM will host Utah State on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Dreamstyle Stadium.  With the Thanksgiving Holiday coming up, UNM has a great holiday deal for Lobo fans that’s better than any Black Friday deal out there.

All this week, Lobo fans can get buy one get one deals throughout the stadium for the season finale.  Fans want a Cherry ticket?  Buy one, get one free.  Want an end zone club ticket? Buy one get one free.  It’s a great Fan Appreciation deal that’s available online right now by clicking right here.

In addition, for Fan Appreciation, UNM will have drawings during the game for fans to win select Nike gear.  The game is also UNM’s Senior Day, and it will be the final game for UNM’s 21 seniors.  One of those seniors was a junior in eligibility but a senior in school in Nahje Flowers, who passed away on November 5.  He will be honored with this year’s senior class, with his family accepting his jersey.

It’s also the final game for UNM head coach Bob Davie as the school announced that he and the university came to a mutual agreement to part ways after the game.  Davie, who led UNM to back-to-back bowl games in 2015 and 2016, and won the 2016 Gildan New Mexico Bowl, met with the media earlier today for his normal weekly availability.

The Lobos are looking to end an eight-game losing streak, but they are also looking for a third home win on the season.  UNM will be led by freshman quarterback Trae Hall, who will be making his first career start.  UNM is down to two true quarterbacks on the roster, and two running backs in Bobby Cole and Micah Gray, both of whom are former walk-ons that earned scholarships.
