Men’s Tennis travels to Nevada

Albuquerque, N.M. — After a close match against Fresno State on Friday, the University of New Mexico men’s tennis team heads to Reno, Nev. to face the Nevada Wolf Pack.
 
This is the first time this season the Lobos (7-10, 0-1 MW) meet up with the Wolf Pack (6-6, 1-0 MW).  
 
Last season, the Lobos defeated Nevada 4-3 at McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium. Bart Van Leijsen clinched the match win for New Mexico at No. 2.
 
The Lobos look to bring home another win against the Wolf Pack. The doubles team of Van Leijsen and Dominic West lead the Lobos into Sunday with a 7-5 record. Ricky Hernandez-Tong posts a 16-9 record followed by Rodolfo Jauregui 11-12 in singles.
 
The Wolf Pack defeated Air Force 4-1 on Friday, Mar. 31 and will face off against Northern Arizona today. Robert Margitfalvi and Peter O’Donovan lead the team 7-3 in doubles and Kostya Nesterenko leads the team 14-12 in singles this season.
