Carl extended his hitting streak to eight, and he had a hit and an RBI in all five games last week, hitting .429 on 9-for-21 batting with a home run and a double, along with three sacrifice flies.  He had a monster day on Sunday, going 4-for-5 with four leadoff hits, including a ninth inning home run.
