ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – One day after having 24 players recognized by Conference USA for their academic prowess, the University of New Mexico men’s soccer team had five players earn an additional honor in the Academic Medal the conference office announced Friday.
Jason Beaulieu, Matt Dorsey, Josh Dye, Nick Miele and Adrian Mora Delgado were the Lobos recognized due to owning a cumulative GPAs better than 3.75. Only one men’s soccer program in the entire conference had more than UNM’s five honorees.
Beaulieu, Dye and Miele were named Academic All-Conference during the season. Dorsey and Mora Delgado might have been as well, but they were redshirts last season.
