“I’m sure the first question is going to be “Why aren’t we going to play Anthony Teague more?” I was proud of our group tonight I thought we played very well together. I think you can see that when our system is working right we have a number of assists and you could see that tonight. Ole Miss is a lot better than they played tonight and if I can steal a quote Jim Boeheim “We’re not as good as we played, and Ole Miss isn’t as bad as they played.” I think we were fortunate, we got into a rhythm early. It mirrored the Santa Clara first half last year. We really were playing inspired basketball and that is a credit to our kids. ”
“I think we’re a good team, I think we still have a ways to go, but what I liked was Kyle Prochaska first half and Darren Prentice’s second half. I think Mark (Walters) and Dave (Chiotti) are going to give us consistency, that to me is a given.”
