Brandon Mason begins his third season with the University of New Mexico, serving as the Video Administrator for the program. As the video administrator, Mason is in charge of all facets of UNM’s video operations, from filming practice to obtaining opponent game footage, to cutting up and developing scouting tapes for the coaching staff and players. Those video capabilites include cutting and editting content immediately after games, giving the coaching staff immediate access via laptops and iPads to team video. Mason also created UNM’s unique video distribution sustem for the team, in which players have access to games and player specific video on their iPads, so whether on a bus or plane, team members can get a head start on scouting and upcoming opponents.
