Sam Hendricks joined The University of New Mexico athletic department in August 2024 as an assistant AD for compliance.
Hendricks comes to UNM after spending a year at Saint Louis University as an internal operations intern, in which he split time between assisting with compliance and facility and event management before serving in an interim compliance coordinator role and working at the department’s front desk. Prior to Saint Louis, Hendricks was an international teams intern with USA Track and Field, an event intern with the Spokane Sports Commission, and an event coordinator with Alliance Sport Marketing in Anchorage, Alaska.
The Sandpoint, Idaho native graduated from Gonzaga University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Education in sport management and a Bachelor of Arts in music with a percussion performance concentration. During his time at Gonzaga, he was a member of the pep band drumline and traveled with the men’s and women’s basketball teams to several conference and NCAA championships.
Hendricks enjoys playing music, watching sports, hiking, and going on road trips in his free time.
