Reagan Fornshell joined the Lobo family officially in January of 2026. He serves as a Defensive Graduate Assistant, working with the linebackers and coach Nate Palmer. Fornshell is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Physical Education while at UNM.
With the Lobos, he helps with practice planning, on-the-field coaching, and scouting.
Before joining the Lobos, Fornshell served as a student assistant coach at Ohio University, where he worked with defensive coordinator Spence Nowinsky.
With Ohio, he worked with both the safeties and the quarterbacks, helping the Bobcats to four bowl games.
He has earned a pair of degrees from Ohio University, including a bachelor’s in business administration and a bachelor’s in sports administration, and he is still pursuing a master’s in coaching education through the sports management program at Ohio.
