TitleGraduate Assistant Defense Coach Andrew Aho
Andrew Aho

Aho begins his first season as an offensive graduate assistant after spending the past year working with UNM Athletics and IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions.  He also spent time with the Lobo Club.

With UNM, Aho will work with all facets of on-the-field coaching, game preparation, film work, and statistical analysis while working with Kevin Cosgrove and the linebackers.

Aho had a solid four-year career with the Lobos as a tight end, becoming a starter in 2013.

He had 14 career receptions, including nine for 179 yards as a senior.  He caught a touchdown pass as a junior and had an important two-point conversion against Air Force in a 45-37 win on the night UNM retired Brian Urlacher’s number.

Andrew’s younger brother George was a linebacker on the squad, and his older brother James was UNM’s placekicker from 2008-11.

Aho graduated from UNM prior to his senior season in the spring of 2013 with a degree in liberal arts, and he is working on his Master’s in athletic administration.
