Aleshia Jones enters her first season as a graduate assistant ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Jones comes to UNM after playing at Lindenwood for Head Coach Amy Eagan, appearing in 33 games with 31 starts in 2025-26. While at Lindenwood, Jones was named to the Second Team All-OVC and OVC All-Newcomer Team. She led the team with 15.3 points per game, scoring in double figures in 26 games. In addition, she was credited with 4.7 rebounds per game and 2.4 steals per game, setting a program record with 80 steals.
Prior to her time at Lindenwood, Jones spent two seasons at Saginaw Valley State and two seasons at Iowa Western CC.
