FRESHMAN (2026): Appeared in 21 games with three starts... pitched 28.1 innings, the third most on the pitching staff... struck out 24 and allowed 29 hits, 20 runs (18 earned) and 26 walks... finished with a 4.45 ERA... two saves and went 2-3... first win came at Colorado State on March 22... first save came against Northwestern State on Feb. 8... also earned the win against San Diego State on March 28... threw a combined shutout with Caitlin Benningfield against Northwestern State on Feb. 8... 10 appearances without allowing a run... seven appearances without allowing a hit... season-high five strikeouts against San Diego State... seven games with multiple strikeouts... named Mountain West Freshman of the Week on May 4.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Smithson Valley High School…named the District MVP in 2024, First Team All-District as a sophomore after named Second Team All-District as a freshman and team defensive MVP three times… recorded her 400th career strikeout her junior season after pitching 137.1 innings with a 1.63 ERA and 186 strikeouts as a junior… recorded her 600th career strikeout in her senior season… team won area and district championship in 2024 as well as being a regional semi-finalists in 2023… in 2025, team was a Class 5A Division I state semifinalist… pitched a perfect game with 12 strikeouts to become undefeated district champions in 2025… academically, was a member of the National Honor Society and earned academic all-district three years… named Academic Al-State by Texas Girls Coaches Association as well as All-State in 2025.

PERSONAL: Birthday is March 19… born in West Covina, California… parents are Pilarr and Salvatore Capek… has two siblings: Ava and Sal… majoring in business administration.
