SOPHOMORE (at Paris Junior College, 2024): Compiled a 2.23 ERA in 166.0 innings pitched… registered 142 strikeouts for an average of 5.99 per game… threw 17 complete games in 29 starts and made 34 appearances… threw seven shutouts… ranked fourth nationally for most wins in the NJCAA with 24 wins and also added two saves.

FRESHMAN (at Paris Junior College, 2023): Appeared in 17 games with six starts and three complete games… threw 50.2 innings with 30 strikeouts… averaged 4.1 strikeouts per game and had an ERA of 2.90.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Charter Oak High School… earned Second Team All-League the 2022 season… was ranked 45^th in the country by Extra Innings amongst the 2022 class.

CLUB: Played for  played for OC Batbusters, BSC Briggs Softball Club and the Bengals… PGF National Champion in the 14U Platinum Division with OC Batbusters Shockey in 2019 after pitching eight innings in the championship game.

PERSONAL: Birthday is Feb. 25… born in Los Angeles, California… parents are Frank and Liz Montes… has one sibling: Natalie… majoring in kinesiology and exercise science.
