HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-time first team all-state and all-district pitcher for LaSalle High School…nominated for Extra Innings Softball’s Top 100 rankings…pitched the Tigers to three consecutive state championship game appearances, earning the title her freshman season … as a junior, finished 25-4 with a 0.71 ERA and 215 strikeouts over 163 innings in the circle, and at the plate batted .405 with a team-best seven home runs and 39 RBI leading to district MVP honors … the season was highlighted by 10 shutouts, four no-hitters and a perfect game in the circle…a three-time All-CENLA selection and second team All-American choice of Extra Innings Softball, she compiled 575 strikeouts in her varsity career… played select softball with Texas Glory, winning an USA Softball/ASA 16U Gold National Championship… valedictorian of her graduating class… member of the National Honors Society, Beta Club, FCA and 4-H…community service included Soup Sunday, bingo with the Haven Nursing Home Patients and Veteran’s Day lunch.
