SOPHOMORE (2026): Played in 41 games with nine starts... all nine starts were at designated player... hit pinch-hit two-run home run in the Mountain West Championship against Fresno State... also hit a pinch-hit home run against Abilene Christian... drew three walks and finished with 11 hits... went 2-3 as the designated player against Utah State on May 1 for a season-high three RBI and also had two hits in the season opener against Baylor... three multiple-hit games all with two hits and three multiple-RBI games with two games with two and one game with three... hit two doubles and two home runs with 13 RBI and a .373 slugging percentage and .216 batting average.
FRESHMAN (2025): Played in 41 games primarily as a pinch hitter with five starts… four starts were as the designated player with one start in right… hit .213 with 10 hits including three home runs and finished with 12 RBI… hit a pinch-hit three-run home run on Feb. 7 against Houston in the fifth inning… hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the third inning against North Dakota on Feb. 22… pinch-hit three-run home run against Saint Joseph’s on March 8 ended the game… tied for third on the team in home runs… made two appearances in the circle, going 0.1 inning against Texas Southern and 0.1 inning at UTEP.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from John Champe…named to the first team all-district her freshman and sophomore years while also being named first team all-region and second team all-state as a sophomore… named district player of the year, first team all-region and first team all-district as a junior and was named her team MVP after throwing 98.0 innings and allowed 57 hits and 35 runs (25 earned), striking out 197 and having a .160 batting average against, and finished with a 1.786 ERA… won the Cedar Run District championship her junior season… ranked 57th in the country.
CLUB: Played for Lady Dukes Lamar, Top Gun National and Virginia Glory.
PERSONAL: Birthday is May 25… born in Aldie, Virginia … parents are Jenell Porreco and Bryan Dawson… has one sibling: Jacob… majoring in business administration.
