Freshman (2016): Saw action in all 12 races, and she led the team with 11 scoring marks … was second on the team with 262 points … earned First Team All-America after a brilliant race to end the second, coming in second in the 15K classical in Steamboat Springs … had 11 top 12 finishes, and seven top 10s … finished in the top 10 in all six classical races … recorded her first UNM podium in the classical at the RMISA Championships, finishing third … opened her career with top 10s at both Utah races, coming in 10th in the freestyle and eighth in the classic … would finish 12th in each of her next four freestyle races, including the RMISA Championships … finished sixth at the Montana State Invitational in the classical before coming in ninth at both the CU/Spencer Nelson Invitational and the Jade Enterprises/UNM Invitational.
Prior to UNM: A graduate of Sotkamon Urheilulukio and she skied for Liperin Hiihtoseura … finished seventh in the 5K classical at the Finnish National Junior Championships in Kokkola … also finished seventh in the Finnish National Junior Championships in the 20K freestyle mass start … had a great meet in Kontiolahti, Finland, coming in sixth in a 10K freestyle and then fifth in a 5K classica .. also finished 19th at Rendezvous Ski Trails in Montana prior to the official 2016 season beginning for UNM, in a 10K freestyle.
