Brian Ferguson joined New Mexico as a Learning Specialist Intern in February of 2012. Ferguson provides various services for student-athletes, which include conducting writing labs, co-instructing the University 101 class and holding weekly meetings with student-athletes. He came to UNM Athletics after a four-year stint as the College Director of Young Life at the University of New Mexico.
Ferguson is a New Mexico alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology. He also holds a master’s degree from Wayland Baptist University.
The native of Albuquerque and his wife, Marsha, have been married since 2009. The two had their first child, Kendall, in 2012.
