Junior Year | 2017: Finished the season with a 17-10 record, playing 22 matches in the No. 1 position and five in the No. 2 slot … Logged a 5-0 record playing in the 2’s, going 12-10 in the 1’s … Played the entire season with Ashley Kelsey … Picked up a marquee win over No. 9/12 Arizona State’s No. 1 duo, winning 21-19, 21-19 in Tempe … Won six straight matches to open April, including victories over Santa Clara, UAB and Colorado Mesa (twice) … Finished with three straight wins to close out the season, with a win over No. 20 California … Also added wins over Benedictine, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Morehead State, Jacksonville State, Lincoln Memorial and CSU Bakersfield
Sophomore Year | 2016: Finished the season with a 12-14 record, playing 22 matches in the No. 1 position … Opened the season playing with Lise Rugland, going 1-4 over the first weekend of the season … Picked up a win vs. Colorado Mesa with Rugland … Teamed up with Ashley Kelsey starting on March 13, playing together for the rest of the season … With Kelsey, posted an 11-10 record, playing exclusively at the top position … Earned a win against San Jose State and strung together three wins vs. Irvine Valley College and CMU twice … Came within a few points of defeating sixth-ranked Arizona’s top pairs … Won three straight against Pacific, Sacramento State and Washington … Closed the season with back-to-back wins, claiming a point vs. No. 9 LSU and New Orleans
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2013 graduate of Cleveland High School…had three coaches during her prep career (Ben Wallis, Vicky McCarty, Brian Ainsworth)…four-year letterwinner in volleyball…also lettered in swimming (3) and track & field (5)…led Cleveland to a 22-2 overall record (undefeated against New Mexico teams) her senior season en route to the Storm’s third-consecutive District 1-5A title and their first State Championship…team finished runner-ups in the state tourney in 2010 and 2011…recorded 397 kills (.335 attack percentage), 70 digs, 24 solo blocks, five block assists and 21 ace serves over 85 sets played her senior season…All-District honorable mention in 2009 and first team All-District 2010-12… three-time first team All-State…two-time All-Metro team…two-time All-Metro academic team… four-time All-District academic team…Margaret Hussman All-Tournament team in 2012…played on the U.S. Junior National Women’s Training team summer 2012…played for New Mexico Juniors club team…competed at state swimming championships for the first time as an eighth grader and placed in the top 15 in her four events, including two top-five finishes…also competed in state swimming championships her freshman and sophomore years, placing in the top 15 in all four of her events each year…a two-time district and state champion in the high jump…helped the Storm capture the 2011 state championship for track and field.
