FRESHMAN: Competed in eight meets as a freshman and recorded three top-three finishes…  Notched career-best times of 2:03.57 at the Phill Hansel Invitational in the 200 fly and a 56.96 in the 100 fly at the Mountain West Championships… Registered a pair of career-best times at the Pacific Invitational with a 2:00.37 in the 200 free and a 5:14.14 in the 500 free.

PERSONAL: Born in Torreon, COAH, Mexico…Graduated from the Colegio Americano de Torreon in 2018… Member of the National Honor Society and was named student of the year in 2016… Won the Bolles School State Championship in 2016-17… Parents are Javier De la Peña and Alejandra Schott… Has four siblings: Regina, Barbara, Javier and Jimena…Favorite food is Hojitas de Parra… Majoring in business.
