SENIOR: Broke three UNM program records in her final season as a Lobo… Collected 16 first-place finishes on the season… Named Mountain West Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 20… Claimed three gold medals at the Mountain West Championships in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:20.53), in the 500-yard freestyle (4:43.63) and in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.03)… Broken records on the season included a 16:14.63 in the 1650-yard freestyle and a 9:51.67 in the 1000-yard freestyle at the Phill Hansel Invitational… Helped her team break the UNM program record and claim the silver medal in the 800-free relay at the MW Championships with a time of 7:12.04… Also helped her teams place fifth in both the 400-free relay (3:22.23) and the 200-free relay (1:32.36) at the MW Championships.

JUNIOR: Swam in the 1000-yard freestyle and placed first with a time of 10:48.15, won the 200- yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.13 and won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:04.87 against USAFA and Omaha…Placed first in the 1000 (10:21.87) and the 500 (5:03.30) yard, member of the team that won the 200- yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:25.26 and placed first in the 200 yard freestyle with a final time of 1:52.00 versus Wyoming… 

Won the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:23.75, swam the last leg (50.47) of the 400-yard freestyle relay that finished fourth with a time of 3:24.23, finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.85 and swam the last leg (1:48.01) of the 800-yard freestyle relay that finished third with a time  of 7:22.39 at the Phill Hansel Invite..Won the 200-yard free with the final time of 1:51.41 and the 500-yard free with a time of 4:55.58 at the Mountain West Quad Meet as well as swam the fourth leg of the 400-yard free relay that placed third with a time of 3:33.34… Won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:54.54, won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:01.13 and swam the final leg (51.58) of the 400-yard freestyle relay that won with a time of 3:31.33 against NMSU…At the MW Championships, swam the first leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay that finished fourth with a time of 7:12.43; finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:45.74, finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.42, finished second in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:22.34, setting a school record, and swam the last leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay that finished 10th with a time of 3:25.40…Won MW Swimmer of the Week twice… Earned all-conference in the 1650-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle.

SOPHOMORE: Set four school records and named All-Mountain West in three events during her sophomore season … Set school records in the 200 free (1:47.63), 500 free (4:44.15), 1000 free (9:54.41) and the 1650 free (16:22.46) … Earned All-Mountain West honors in the 200 free (sixth place, 1:48.33), 500 free (third place, 4:44.86) and the 1650 free (fourth place, 16:30.54) … Was part of 800 freestyle relay team that took fourth place at the Mountain West Championships with a season-best time of 7:21.33 (just 0.63 seconds off the school record) … Against in-state rival New Mexico State, took first in the 200 and 500 free … Swam the third-fastest time in Aztec Aquaplex history in the 500 free while winning the event in San Diego in 4:56.56, and won the 1,000 free and took second in the 100 free … Helped the Lobos take first in the 400 freestyle relay (3:29.44) at the double dual versus San Diego State and Fresno State on Jan. 14 … At the Phill Hansel Invite in Houston, took first in the 1650 free (16:22.46) and the 500 free (4:44.15) … Won three events (1000, 500 and 200 free) in dual with Northern Arizona.

FRESHMAN: Set UNM records in the 200 (1:48.78) and 500 (4:47.86) freestyle. … Was also on the school-record 800 freestyle relay team (7:20.70) … An All-Mountain West performer in the 500-yard (4:47.86 – fifth place at the MW Championships) and 1,650-yard (16:48.11) freestyle … Helped the 400 freestyle relay team finish in seventh at the Mountain West Championships … Helped the 800-yard freestyle relay take eighth at the MW Championships … Won 13 individual races in seven competitions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was named MVP of her swim team her senior year at Chandler High School in Chandler, Ariz.

PERSONAL: Born to Liz and Luis Palomino … Has one sister, Kathryn … Enjoys eating and watching Netflix in her free time … Majoring in Nursing.
