2019 (Junior Season): Played in all 12 games, starting 10 at safety … was sixth on the team in tackles with 49, and fourth in solo tackles with 36 … had a career-high nine tackles against Colorado State … also forced a fumble against Colorado State … had seven tackles at Liberty … had a five-tackle night against San Jose State … recorded pass breakups against Sam Houston State, Hawai’i and Utah State … had four tackles in a game three times, against Botre Dame, Hawai’i and Utah State.
Junior College: Lettered at Hutchinson Community College for coach Rion Rhodes … as a sophomore he recorded five interceptions, 12 pass breakups and 39 tackles … recorded 53 yards in returns on his five interceptions, and he added 2.5 TFLs … earned Honorable Mention All-KJCAA honors in helping Hutchinson to a top-10 ranking.
High School: Lettered at Boca Ciega High School for coach Max Smith … over his final two seasons he recorded 115 tackles, two interceptions (returning one for a touchdown), and he also played on offense, scoring three rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown … averaged 28.9 yards per kickoff return.
