ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos are playing the second of two back-to-back road games, trying to earn their first-ever win in Reno. The No. 22/25 Lobos (7-1, 4-0 MW) take on the Nevada Wolf Pack (3-5, 2-2 MW). The Lobos are 0-4-1 overall in Reno against the Wolf Pack, with the lone tie coming in 1942.
New Mexico broke through in the national rankings last week, coming in at No. 22 in the AP Poll and No. 25 in the Coaches Poll. It was UNM's first AP ranking in school history, and the third ranking in the Coaches Poll, following one week in 1964 and one week in 1997.
