ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Last week, the Lobos picked up a win in San Jose, the first for UNM in 57 years. This week, UNM will try to get a win in Reno for the first time in program history as the No. 22/25 Lobos face the Nevada Wolf Pack on Friday night at 6 pm Pacific, 7 pm Mountain on CBS Sports Network.

The Lobos, who trail the all-time series against Nevada 6-4-1, are 0-4-1 against Nevada in Reno, with that lone tie coming in a 0-0 stalemate back in 1942, 84 years ago.

Jack Gordon and Taylor McHargue will call on CBS Sports Network, and Robert Portnoy and DonTrell Moore will call on the Lobo Radio Network.

Nevada is 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the Mountain West, but they are very much in the Mountain West championship game hunt, just one loss behind second-place Wyoming (which it doesn't play) and UNLV. The Lobos are the first ranked team to play at Mackay Stadium in over 10 years, and are 7-1 and 4-0 in the league. The Lobos are looking for a 5-0 conference start for the first time since the 1970 season, when they started 5-0 on the way to a 5-1, second-place finish in the WAC.

The Lobos lead the nation in scoring defense (11.9), interceptions (17), and turnover margin (+2.13)
