PROVO, Utah --- Alberto Perez's run in the ITA Regionals Main Draw ended in the quarterfinals with a 6-4, 6-2 loss to Dylan Davies in Denver.
Perez finished two wins short of qualifying for the ITA Championships. Perez went 3-1 in the tournament's main draw and would have beaten Idaho State's Sep De Visser to advance.
Overall, UNM had a quarterfinalist in Perez, one player in the round of 16 (Dario Ciobotaru), and two in the Round of 32 (David Schwarc and Philip Bosin).
The Lobos are now off until the Mountain West Fall Qualifiers, October 21-25 in Las Vegas.
